why-cupstars
  • In the UK alone, we get through a staggering 100 Million+ single use plastic cups a year. At a conservative estimate, that’s over 100,000 tonnes of plastic waste, much of which ends up in landfill or our environment.

  • Cupstars are changing the game. Our brandable cups slash single use plastic by 90%.

  • The world is moving on - become part of it.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CUPSTARS CUP?

Once collected, the cups are sorted and compressed into large bales and sent to James Cropper Paper in Cumbria where their unique process removes the waterproof polyethylene lining which releases the valuable paper fibres. The polyethylene is reprocessed leaving paper fibres to be up-cycled into high quality, beautiful papers.
